Debra S. Randall, 60, Peru, died Feb. 20, 2017.
Deb was born October 26, 1956 in Ionia, Mich. to Robert Edwin and Sherilyn Gayle (Rusmisel) Randall.
Heaven gained a beautiful angel when Deb passed away. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. While Deb may have given birth to only one child, she was a mother to many. She loved kids dearly, didn’t know a stranger, and adopted any stray animal she saw. She loved to crochet, watch old movies, and spend time with her son Robert. Deb graduated from Warsaw High School in 1975 and went on to work for R R Donnelly and Sons in Warsaw for many years before a disability forced her retirement.
Deb is survived by her son Robert Tackett of Peru; one grandchild; two brothers: David (wife Sharon) Randall of Silver Lake; Robert Randall of Silver Lake; two sisters: Wensday Crist of Silver Lake; and Gayle McCullough of North Manchester. Also surviving is a step brother, Robert (wife Sue) Bershing of Michigan and two step sisters, Sharon (husband Dick) Harris of National City, Mich.; and Janice Bershing of Powell, Ohio.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents and step father, Robert Bershing.
Deb requested there be no funeral or viewing, a family memorial will be held at a later date. Any memorials or donations in Debra’s name can be made to the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Joyce I. Zolman
Joyce I. Zolman, 73, Warsaw, passed away at 3:39 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 in Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born March 10, 1943 in Warsaw to Edward and Betty (Hamman) Ewing.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was united in marriage to Jan Zolman on Nov. 28, 1970 in Warsaw. She had 32 years of service with J.C. Penny of Warsaw and retired as a Floor Manager.
Survivors include her husband Jan Zolman of Warsaw; a son, Brad (spouse Kathy) Zolman of Warsaw; a sister, Jane (spouse Terry) Hill of Warsaw; a brother, Ed (spouse Candace) Ewing of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Zolman of Warsaw.
She was preceded by her parents and a brother Mark Ewing.
Private services are scheduled with interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.

James Edward McCleary
James Edward “Jim” McCleary, 73, Warsaw, passed away at 3:03 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at Sycamore Village Healthcare in Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 4, 1943 in Warsaw to Virgil A. and Lucille (Thorp) McCleary.
He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident, graduated in 1961 from Warsaw High School, and attended Purdue University in West Lafayette. He was a United States Air Force veteran and attended the Air Force Academy. He was married on Feb. 22, 1998 in Warsaw to Irina Nekrasova, who survives. He retired in 2000 as co-owner/operator of SYM Financial Corporation in Warsaw.
He enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Irina; his daughter, Katie (Don) Ross, Blue Springs, Mo.; his son, Christopher McCleary, Bentonville, Ark.; six grandchildren; brother, Richard McCleary, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
No public services are planned at this time. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Infant Russell Dale Grindle
Infant Russell Dale Grindle, died four hours after his birth, Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born to Randall Grindle and Amber Burnworth, who survive along with three brothers: Jorge Burnworth, Ricky Grindle and his twin, Keith Grindle, all at home; as well as two sisters: Calissa Grindle and Breanna Macey, both at home. His maternal grandparents survive: Doyle and Vicki Burnworth, South Whitley; along with his paternal grandparents: Tori and Path Blocher, North Webster; Steven and Laura Smith, Sandwich, Ill.; and his maternal great grandparents, Larry and Lorretta Burnworth, Shipshewana; and paternal great grandfather, Bill Elliot, Claypool.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jill Cremeens.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in Garden of Angels, Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor J.C. Sparks of the River Worship Center officiating.

Terry Lee Winteregg, Warsaw, passed away at 11: 40 a.m. Feb. 18, 2017 at Mason’s Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on May 1, 1950 in Decatur to Doyle and Phyllis Hoffman Winteregg on Berne.
On Aug. 5, 1972, he married Kathy Habegger in Berne. Soon after, they moved to Warsaw.
Terry obtained an B.S. from Ball State in 1972 and a M.S. from IPFW in 1975. He began his teaching career in the fall of 1972 with Warsaw Community Schools where he taught for 39 years. He taught 5th grade at both Atwood and Eisenhower Elementary Schools. During his years at Atwood, he coached boys and girls sports. At 6’5” he was known, as a gentle giant who influenced his students through his patience, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor. Teaching was a love for him that never ended, even with treatment.
He attended WCC Church for the past 17 years.
He participated in several sports throughout his life. He was an avid runner, biker, and golfer. Over the years he participated in marathons, mini marathons, mini triathlons, 5ks, and a number of bike tours.
Above all else his true loves in life were his quiet faith in God, his relationship with his wife and daughter, and time spent with family and friends.
Terry is survived by Kathy, his wife of 44 years; his daughter and son-in-law, Darcy and Andy Gilbert, Lafayette, Colo.; his brother and sister-in-law Randy and Diane Winteregg, Berne; his brothers and sisters-in-law Randy and Rosie Habegger, Granite Schoals, Texas; John and Sharie Habegger, Arvada, Colo.; Neale Habegger, Syracuse; Dean Habegger and Elizabeth Morris, Libertyville, Ill.; 17 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Phyllis Winteregg, Berne and sister, Linda Rasawehr, Woodburn.

Casey J. Roberts, 30, Leesburg, passed away in his residence at 5:46 a.m., Thursday February 23, 2017.
He was born on May 1, 1986 to Duane and Brenda (Love) Roberts in Warsaw.
He graduated from Wawasee High School in 2004. He obtained his CDL at Truck Driver Institute of Indianapolis Inc. in 2007.
Casey enjoyed truck driving, computer art work and he was always willing to help others.
He is survived by his parents, Duane and Brenda Roberts of Leesburg; a brother, Briar Roberts of Bourbon; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Love and paternal grandmother, Malveen Kelley, both of Warsaw; and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandfathers, one aunt, LeighAnn Roberts and one uncle Carl Love.
There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.

June Diane Shank
June Diane Shank, 74, Warsaw, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 in Florida at Venice Regional Bayfront Health.
Born Nov. 17, 1942 in Muncie, June was the daughter of Wilbur and Opal (Ward) Reynard). She was a graduate of nearby DeSoto High School, graduating with the class of 1960.
She spent most of her adult life in the Warsaw area and had worked for Zimmer. Although she held several positions at Zimmer, June retired from her position as a quality auditor in 1997.
June loved to do needlework, including sewing and quilting. She loved to travel and was an avid player of cards and board games. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Warsaw and a fan of several sports. Her favorite teams included the Chicago Cubs, Tampa Bay Rays, Indiana University Basketball, Indianapolis Colts, and University of Notre Dame.
June will be missed by many. Those who survive with hearts full of memories include her four children: three daughters: Jama (Coy) Oldsen of Sarasota, Fla.; Debbie (Chris) Moore of Akron; and Laura (Ryan) Riggle of Warsaw; son, Mark (Paula) Shank of Pierceton; good friend, Don Jaynes of Warsaw; and two brothers, William (Dona) Robertson of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Stephen P. Reynard. She is also survived and dearly missed by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
Those who preceded June in death include her parents, Wilbur and Opal, and sisters, Linda Gibbons and Jama Burkhart.
Friends may join family for visitation and to share memories of June from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Ernie Troxell of Warsaw’s Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Teresa Diane Shepherd, 61, Warsaw, passed away in her home at 9:09 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017.
She was born Oct. 18, 1955 to Oneal and Edna Saint in Tuscumbia, Ala.
She was united in marriage to Danny Shepherd June 20, 1973 in Warsaw.
She worked at Kimble Glass Inc. as a Quality Control Inspector for 33 years.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Danny Shepherd of Warsaw; a son Danny Shepherd JR. of Beaver Dam; and a brother, David Saint of Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Joann Shepherd and a sister, Mary Pate.
Following Teresa’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.

Paul Hamman
Paul Hamman, 61, Warsaw, passed away at 2:13 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, in his residence.
He was born on June 29, 1955 to Samuel Jr. and Joan (Slater) Hamman in Wabash, Indiana.
He worked for Black and Decker, South Whitley, Indiana as a Machinist for 27 years.
He is survived by his mother, Joan Hamman-Cox of Warsaw; a daughter, Melissa Ann Hamman of Fort Wayne; brothers, Jeffery (and spouse Connie) Hamman of Leesburg; and Chad Hamman of Bristol, Tenn.; and a sister, Melinda (and spouse Michael) Walter of Wabash; a granddaughter, Shenease Marie Guy. He is preceded in death by his father, a son Steven Paul Hamman and his brother, David Bruce Hamman.
Burial will be private.

Dorothy L. Heck
Dorothy L. Heck, 88, formerly of Somerset, passed away at 12:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw.
She was born to the late John and Helen (Bedwell) Sharp on Dec. 8, 1928 in Montpelier, Indiana.
Dorothy was a graduate of Roll High School. She married Melvin E. Heck on April 2, 1950, he passed away on August 9, 1999. Dorothy was a homemaker to her family. She was a member of Treaty Church of Christ in Treaty, Indiana.
She is survived by her sons: Jon Heck (Sandra) of Warsaw; and Ned Heck of Fort Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Ryan Heck (Heather) of Sutherlin, Ore.; and Sarah Heck of Carmel; brothers: Lowell Sharp (Kathleen) of Hartford City; James Sharp (Vicki) of Hartford City; and Joe Sharp (Marlayna) of Fort Wayne; sisters, Arlene Kirkwood of Hartford City; Norma Smith of Montpelier; Wilma Payne of Hartford City; and Joan Abbott of Montpelier.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 2 at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, IN 46940, with Scott Saltsman officiating. Burial will follow at LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine. Preferred memorials are directed to donor’s choice.

Gracie Lea Freeman
Gracie Lea Freeman, 81, Warsaw, passed away at 12:07 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2017.
She was born on June 15, 1925 in Van Buren, Ark. to Roland Fisher and Nora Belle (Moses) Fisher. On Jan. 31, 1957 she was married to Charles Eugene Freeman, he passed away on March 30, 2004.
Gracie received her Associates degree from St. Edward’s School of Nursing in Fort Smith, Ark. and had worked as a nurse for Mason Health Care and Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw. She was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 60 years where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Warsaw. She enjoyed belonging to the Red Hat Society, and helping with BINGO at Miller’s Merry Manor. Most of all Gracie loved her grandchildren and also her dog Allie.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Charles (wife Patricia) Freeman, Warsaw; and daughter: Missy (husband Jim) Carlson, Mooresville, N.C. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Josh (wife Chantelle) Freeman, Warsaw; Ashley (husband Mike) Harmon, Panama City Beach, Fla.; Hannah and Mia Carlson, Mooresville, N.C.; three step-grandchildren: Sherri (husband Shawn) Bradford, Warsaw; Paula (husband Terry) Wood, Warsaw; Mike (wife Christy) Summers, Warsaw; and her sister: Betty (husband Don) Justice Fort Smith, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her infant daughter Stacy Rene Freeman in 1963.
Visitation will be held from 10-noon Saturday, March 4, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Her funeral service will follow immediately at noon at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer. A graveside service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.

Rita Joan ‘Joni’ Hathaway
Rita Joan “Joni” Hathaway, 82, North Webster, passed away at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 28, 1934 in Elwood to Bert and Catherine (Reese) Phillips.
A North Webster resident, she was formerly of Warsaw. She was united in marriage to Loyal Hathaway who preceded her. She was a purchasing agent for DePuy, Inc. and attended the Church of God, North Webster. Joni loved spending time with her family, especially while boating and fishing. In addition, she loved to travel and spent many winter months in Florida. Shopping was her favorite hobby, but she also enjoyed playing cards, reading, traveling, attending car shows and was an avid NASCAR fan. She had a very special place in her heart for her two dogs, Suzie and Daisy. Joni always had a smile that would light up the room.
Survivors include a daughter, Valerie Israel of Kingman, Ariz.; a son, Michael Israel of Warsaw; a step-son, Kim (spouse Karen) Hathaway Hogland; step-daughters: Pamela Hathaway-Cox, Warsaw; and Cindy Hathaway of Warsaw. Furthermore, a sister Patricia DeMasi of Greenwood; grandchildren: Michelle (spouse Jason) Rush of Kokomo; Heather Blassingame of Indianapolis; Breanne (spouse Dustin) Lawson of Kokomo; Angela Cox, Linzy Cox, Jennifer Hathaway, Adrianne Hathaway and Justin Hathaway all of Warsaw; and Logan Hathaway of Fort Bragg, N.C. Also, a 30 year companion, Ron Clemons survives. In addition to Loyal she was preceded by a daughter Debra Israel, brothers: Gene and George Phillips; and sisters: Alberta Vest and Vivian Hobson.

Rev. Dr. Ronald ‘Ron’ C. Perry Jr.
Rev. Dr. Ronald “Ron” C Perry Jr., 81, died Feb. 15, 2017, at the Community Hospice of Northern Florida in Jacksonville, Fla.
He was surrounded by his wife, Deborah, his daughter Karen and her husband Stephen, and his dog Buddy.
Ron was born to parents Martha J (Davey) Perry Dunham (deceased) and Ronald C Perry, Sr. (deceased). He graduated from Alfred State Tech in 1957 with a degree in Accounting. He then joined the Army and served at Fort Dix. He met and married Rayona J (Glover) Perry in 1959. After leaving the Army, he felt God called him to the ministry. He attended Johnson City Theological Seminary and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology in 1966. In 1967, he moved his family to Warsaw Indiana to attend Grace Theological Seminary in 1967 and 1968. Health issues prevented him from receiving his Master’s Degree. While attending school he was employed by Little Crow Foods and as a rural paper carrier for the Warsaw Times Union. He was then employed by RR Donnelly and Sons (now LSC Communications) for 25+ years until he retired in 1996. His wife, Rayona, passed away in 1998.
In 1999, he met and married Edith “Edie” (Black) Sesky. Through her encouragement, he went back to school and finished his Master’s and Doctorate in Theology. He graduated from Master’s School of Theology in 2001. He then fulfilled his lifelong calling and became a pastor in the Primitive Methodist Church. He served faithfully in the ministry for 10 years. His wife, Edith, passed away in 2009 while still in the ministry.
Later in 2009, Ron married Deborah “Debbie” R (Harvey) Coates, who survives. Ron retired from the ministry in 2011 and they moved to Jacksonville, Fla. He loved being where he could go places and do things with his wife any day of the year.
Ron’s faith was his life. He served in churches, studied his Bible and he was passionate about leading others to Christ. He had many interests. Among those were, watching all the news he could, reading books on many different subjects, chess, computers, history, music and taking care of his family. He had a great sense of humor that often led to silliness. He loved animals and they knew it. They would always find him and be in his lap. He collected books, sailboats, light houses and eagles. He loved watching westerns, especially if they starred John Wayne. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
In addition to his wife Debbie, Ron is also survived by his two children: Karen Frantz (Stephen) Warsaw; and Rebecca Arefin (Samuel) Sanford, Fla.; his wife Deborah’s children: Jeremy Coates (Melissa) Jacksonville, Fla.; Brandon Coates (Christy) Jacksonville, Fla.; Amanda Davis (Wayne) Peckville, Penn.; his sister, Ruth Ann Wallace, Phoenix, Ariz.; and his sister, Regina Miller, Fort Wayne; his 21 grandchildren and step grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Harriet Perry and his stepfather, Louis Dunham and his brother-in-law, Harold Wallace.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Community Bible Church 2947 South County Farm Rd Warsaw. Visitation is from 1-4:30 p.m. with service following. Rev Jack Worth will officiate. Cremation was handled by Naugle Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Jacksonville, Fla. Burial of his ashes will be a private ceremony for the immediate family.

Barbara Joan Grabill
Barbara Joan “Barb” Grabill, 83, Warsaw, passed away at 3:47 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at her home.
She was born on Jan. 24, 1934 in Pontiac, Mich. to Chester and Esther (Shoemaker) Myrben.
She graduated in 1953 from Pontiac High School and attended the University of Michigan and University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo. She was married Nov. 4, 1978 in Troy, Mich. to Lee J. Grabill who preceded her in death in 2012. She owned and operated The Travel Company in Pontiac, Mich. and Columbus, Ohio. She moved to Ohio in 1978 from Michigan and to Warsaw in 2012 from Ohio.
Former member and president of the Rotary Club in Columbus, former board member of the Heinzerling Foundation in Columbus, and volunteer for the Make a Wish Foundation.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Hopp, Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Jenny (Kyle) Bohenkamper, Warsaw; two stepsons: Joseph (Melissa) Grabill, Columbus; Gary (LInda) Grabill, Washington; four granddaughters and seven grandsons; one great granddaughter; and a sister: Kathleen (Tom) Tucker, Sarasota, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Christopher Riley Hopp, and daughter, Sandra Joy Coe.
Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Columbus, Ohio at a later date.
