Margaret Ann Orr
Margaret Ann Orr, 69, Warsaw, passed away peacefully at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 at home.
On March 10, 1947, she was born in Fort Wayne to William and Ilah (Huffman) Hamilton. Margaret grew up in Warsaw, graduating from Warsaw High School in 1965.
On Aug. 26, 1972, she married Michael Orr. They have two children, Thomas (and spouse Theresa) Orr and Erin Sampson and fiancé Justin Perry.
Margaret worked at RR Donnelley & Sons Co., Edgewood Middle School and Warsaw Community Public Library.
Margaret is survived by her husband, two children, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Rosemary Thompson and Peggy O’Brien. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill Hamilton.
A visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Lew Collier officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.

John Alan Groat
John Alan Groat, a lifetime resident of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, in his home. He was 67 at the time of his passing.
John was the son of John R. and Ethel L. (Anderson) Groat. He was a 1967 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.
John was married to Joyce E. Easterday on June 26, 1971 in Columbia City’s Faith Baptist Church. Joyce survives in Fort Wayne.
He had worked for DePuy as a machinist for more than 30 years. He was a former member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church and enjoyed congregational singing at church. He enjoyed many types of music, especially traditional Christian hymns.
Those who survive include his wife of 45 years, Joyce Groat of Fort Wayne; daughter and son-in-law, Ethel and Rod Massing of Fort Wayne; two grandsons, Kevin Massing of Columbus, Ohio; and Donavin Massing of Fort Wayne; and his brother, Robert Groat of Richland, Missouri.
Those who preceded John in passing include his mother, Ethel Groat, father, John R. Groat, step-mother, Nellie Groat, and two sisters, Alma Ragan and Eva Engle.
A memorial service will be held to commemorate John’s life at a later date. Burial will be in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.

Sherman Coy, Jr.
Sherman Coy, Jr. passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 in his Warsaw home. He was 96 years old.

Sherman Coy, Jr.
Sherman was born on Jan. 4, 1921 in Syracuse. He was the son of Sherman Coy, Sr. and Hazel (Goble) Coy. He was also a 1939 graduate of Goshen High School.
Sherman served his country with the United States Army during World War II. He enlisted in 1944 and, by May of 1945, was serving in the South Pacific Theatre. He joined five-star General Douglas MacArthur in June of 1945 when he was transferred to US Military Secret Service with 18 members under him, all serving as guards to General MacArthur. Sherman served with MacArthur through Nov. 15, 1947 and was ultimately discharged through Great Lakes Naval Training Center on Dec. 3, 1947.
On July 9, 1972, he was married to Katheryn Yates in Sullivan. Together the two shared many happy memories and 44 years before his passing.
Sherman was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, otherwise and had worked in tool and die at GTI for nearly 25 years. He was also a lifetime member of VFW Post 1126 and a member of Menzie-Reece American Legion Post 258 in Pierceton for the past 63 years. He enjoyed anything outdoors, including gardening, camping and fishing. He was truly a family man who loved any time he could spend with them.
His family and survivors include, but are not limited to, his wife, Katheryn Coy who survives in Warsaw; two daughters, Sandra England of Winona Lake and Mildred Burchett of Peru; son, Carl Coy, Sr.; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Those who preceded Sherman in death include his son, Richard Coy; brothers, Carl Coy and Eugene Coy; sister, Marguerite Kiston and niece; Phyllis Kitson.
Friends may join family in a time of visitation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, with a funeral service following immediately after, beginning at 1 p.m.
Burial will take place in Syracuse Cemetery, Syracuse. Military graveside honors will be paid by members of the American Legion and VFW.

James M. “Jim” Hile, 77, Warsaw, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at his home.
He was born Jan. 7, 1940 in Warsaw to Robert H. and Mabel N. (Moran) Hile.
He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident and graduated in 1959 from Warsaw High School. He was a truck driver for various local companies most of his life.
He is survived by his brother, Robert (Linda) Hile, Warsaw; and a step-sister: Janet Shepherd, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
No public services will be held. Private family burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.

Wayne Marvin Nicola
Wayne Marvin Nicola, Warsaw, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center of Fort Wayne, at the age of 79.
He was born on July 31, 1937 in Eastport, Mich. to Wilburt Nicola and Marian (Batterbee) Nicola. On June 21, 1958 he was married to Erma (Haught) Nicola, who survives in Warsaw.
Wayne was a resident of Kosciusko County, since 1968 and worked at Dalton Foundries of Warsaw for 32 years as a metallurgical engineer and vice president, retiring in 2000. Wayne was a recipient of several awards as a member of the American Foundry Society. He was a past school board member in Cushing, Oklahoma, member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association, and was a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He was a 48 year member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder, taught Sunday school and was a Stephen Minister. Wayne also enjoyed going to Men’s Tuesday Morning Bible Study at Warsaw Community Church.
If you had to describe Wayne in one sentence, he was a man of commitment, integrity and love. Which was reflected in his work, his church, and his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Erma Nicola, Warsaw; son: Tim (wife Deedre) Nicola, Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters: Bonnie (husband Scott) Swanson, Winona Lake; and Karen (husband Neil) Britt, Hartland, Wisc. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Ryan, Kelly, Katelyn, Joe and Cody Britt; Robert, Reid, and Remington Swanson; three great grandchildren: Charlie and Luke Britt; and Ruth Rudemiller; one brother: Jim (wife Sally) Nicola, Clermont, Fla.; and his sister: Darlene (husband Ted) Konieczny, White Lake, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High Street, Warsaw and officiated by Dr. Erik Ohman. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.

Sherman Coy Jr., Warsaw, 96, died at 9 a.m. Jan. 13, 2017, in his Warsaw home.
He was born Jan. 4, 1921 to Sherman Coy Sr. and Hazel L. (Goble) Coy. He was a 1939 graduate of Goshen High School. He married Katheryn Yates July 9, 1972 in Sullivan. They were married for 44 years.
He was inducted into the United States Army in 1944, serving overseas in May of 1945; he was involved in the WWII South Pacific Theatre. Sherman was honorably discharged from Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Dec. 3, 1947.

Nolan Thomas Miller was born stillborn at 10:39 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He is survived by his parents, Joshua Miller and Taylor Garringer; his maternal grandparents: Misty and Thomas Hudson, Akron; his maternal grandfather, Sherman Garringer, Huntington; his paternal grandparents: Thomas and Kay Miller, Jacksonville, Fla.; maternal great grandparents: Dennis and Elaine Rothenberger, Warsaw; maternal great grandparents: Audrey and Charles Woods, Hyden, Ky.; paternal great grandmother: Marietta Miller, Claypool; maternal great grandfather: Dennis Baker, Warsaw.

Gloria Lorraine Bradway
Gloria Lorraine Bradway, 87, Warsaw, died at 2:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at her Warsaw home.
She was born Sept. 22, 1929 in Marion, to Francis “Woodie” and Opal Ruth “Highlen” Woods. She was a 1947 graduate of Warsaw High School and married Dale Bradway, March 21, 1948 in Warsaw.
A lifetime Warsaw resident she loved spending her winters in DeFuniak Springs, Fla. She was a homemaker and a secretary for Woodie’s Rental; she also drove a bus for some time for Cardinal Services. She loved going to shows at Wagon Wheel Theatre; she loved humming birds and crafting with ceramics and loved fishing with her husband Dale. She also spent time as a Cub Scout leader. Her family was her first love and priority though.
She is survived by her husband, Dale; a daughter, Ruth (Kenneth) Bond, Silver Lake; two sons: Jim Bradway, Greenfield; Charlie (Janice) Bradway, Lakeland, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Larry Bradway.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Jan 20 and one hour prior to the Saturday funeral service at Titus Funeral Home. The service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, also at the funeral home. Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care Hospice, will officiate.

Edith A. Neer, 95, Orange City, Fla., formerly Warsaw, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 in Majestic Oaks Rehabilitation, Orange City, Fla.
She was born Dec. 21, 1921 in Claypool to Richard Fred and Mary Jane (Julius) Davis. She graduated from Claypool High School in 1940 and married Harold Neer Jan. 1, 1942 in Warsaw. They were married for 55 years until his passing, Sept. 7, 1997.
She spent most of her life in Warsaw before moving to Debary, Fla. She enjoyed knitting and garage sales and when she was younger, she loved traveling.
She is survived by her son, Chip (Janice) Neer, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Penny (Thomas) Dzuba, Deltona, Fla.; three granddaughters: Tina Coleman, Orlando, Fla.; Tracey Dzuba, Deltona, Fla.; Tanna (Luis) Oliver, Deltona, Fla.; three great grandkids: Pevin Coleman, Tylee Oliver, Taylin Oliver.
She was preceded by her husband, Harold; her brother, Max Davis; and two sisters, Irene Konkle and Helen Lewis.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20, at Titus Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, also at the funeral home. Pastor Bob Jarboe of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice Chaplain will officiate. Burial will occur at Oakwood Cemetery.

Billy R. Osborne
Billy R. Osborne died at 9:28 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, in Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, Florida. He was 76 years old.
Born Oct. 8, 1940 in Prestonsburg, Ky., he was the son of Dewy Osborne and Julia (Tussey) Osborne. Both have preceded him in passing.
Billy served in both the United States Coast Guard and the Merchant Marine. He spent much of his lifetime in Warsaw however and split the last 17 years between Warsaw and Florida.
On March 10, 1961 Billy was married to Linda L. Rapp in Michigan. They would spend nearly 45 years together before her death in 2006.
He had worked for North American Van Lines, Bendix Wire and was the owner-operator of Linda’s Taxi in Warsaw before joining NIPSCO. It was there where he retired after nearly thirty years of service.
Bill was active in his community and was a member of the Shriners, Moose Lodge, VFW, American Legion and Lions Club. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a Mason. He loved to cook and enjoyed travel – highlights include Hawaii, Germany, Mexico and Alaska. He also enjoyed fishing and boating on his pontoon. Mostly he was a friendly person who enjoyed hosting large fish frys for friends and family.
Those left to cherish memories of Billy include his two daughters and sons-in-law: Linn R. and Jack E. Campbell, Jr. of Culver; and Julie K. and Christopher Robinson of Warsaw; eight grandchildren and their families: Danyelle Routson of Florida; Devin Huff of Michigan; Dezirae Wilson of Warsaw; Brittany Murrary of Fort Wayne; Jack Campbell III of Culver; Sydney Robinson of Warsaw; Beth Volz of Fort Wayne; and Angela Campbell of Culver; brother and sister-in-law, James and Debbie Osborne of Michigan; and sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Eddie Wright of Florida. Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren.
Those who preceded Billy in passing include his wife, Linda (January 2006); infant son, Billy R. Osborne, Jr. (July 1969); mother, Julia Belcher (August 2007); father, John Belcher, Jr. (July 1999) and brothers, John “Gordy” Belcher (October 2003) and David Belcher, who died when he was merely a toddler.

Brooks Butler, 65, Warsaw, passed away at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 in his residence.
On March 20, 1951, he was born in Warsaw, to Frank C. and Barbara Joan (Norris) Butler. He was united in marriage to Angie Norris on Sept. 9, 1989 in Warsaw, who survives.
Brooks lived in Dyer until he graduated from Lake Central High School. He then moved back to Warsaw where he worked as a tool and die maker for Zimmer Inc., for forty years, retiring in 2010. He then worked for Tecomet, Warsaw part-time.
He was a member of Kosko Shotgun Sports Complex, Warsaw; Harley Owners Group; A.B.A.T.E., Kosciusko County and American Legion Post #49, Warsaw. He loved trap and skeet shooting and was a motorcycle enthusiast and he enjoyed working on them.
Brooks is survived by his wife, Angie Butler, Warsaw; two sons, Brian M. (and spouse Dawn) Butler, New Palestine; and Brad A. (and spouse Bobbie) Butler, Warsaw; his brother, Bruce C. (and spouse Jane) Butler, Warsaw; two sisters, Marcia A. Buckley, Warsaw and Franky (and spouse Peter) Voss, Muncie; five grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Brianna, Austin all of Warsaw and Emily, New Palestine.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1–5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Private burial will be at a later date.
