Wendell A. WallsWendell A. Walls, 73, of Warsaw, passed away at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw.

Wendell was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Warsaw to Bud and Joann (Galbreath) Walls. He was a 1959 graduate of Pierceton High School, Pierceton.

He and Loretta Conaway Spangle were joined in marriage October 3, 1975 in Warsaw. He was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident with the exception of the 11 years they wintered in Port Charlotte, Fla. Wendell worked in the maintenance department for DePuy’s for 31 and a half years retiring in 2004.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He collected antique cars, liked Allis Chalmer tractors and was a World War ll history buff.

Those left with memories to treasure are his wife: Loretta; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Roger and Carol Stump, Warsaw; nephew: Kevin (Tina) Stump, Billings, Mont.; niece: Toni Copenhaver, Twinsburg, Ohio; six great-nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will gather to share memories and words of encouragement from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.

A service to celebrate the life of Wendell A. Walls will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 19, in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Conelley of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.

The family has asked that gifts in Wendell’s memory be given to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church,Warsaw.
