Charles W. ‘Sonny’ Gross Jr.

Charlie GrossCharles W. “Sonny” Gross Jr., 76, of Warsaw, passed away at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at his family farm in Syracuse. He was born Jan. 7, 1940, in Warsaw, to Charles W. and Wilma G. (Norman) Gross.

He was a lifetime Warsaw and Syracuse area resident and attended Warsaw High School. He was married on Oct. 6, 1962, in Warsaw, to Avis J. Graff who preceded him on Feb. 17, 2011. On Jan. 20, 2012, in New Paris, he married June E. (May) Weaver who survives. He was the owner and operator of Gross and Sons Lumber Company for over 50 years, and formerly farmed.

He was a member of the Grace Bible Baptist Church in New Paris, Northern Indiana Johnny Poppers (formerly known as Two – Cylinder) Club, and former member of the Gideon’s International in Goshen.

He is survived by his wife: June Gross, Warsaw; six daughters: Dana (Les) Ridgeway, Milford; Amy (Don) Ritter, Milford; Shirley (Joel) Wallenbeck, Syracuse; Leah Gross, Syracuse; Rebekah (Matt) Gilbert, Ligonier; and Joyce (Jeff) Gilbert, Wawaka; two sons: Paul Gross, Syracuse; Michael (Heather) Gross, New Paris; three stepdaughters: Dianna (Mike) Sopher, Gilead; Cris (Dan) Sweeny, Silver Lake; and Shelly Thomas, Warsaw; stepson: David Gross, Talma; 21 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; six step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren; and three brothers: Pete (Ada) Gross, Warsaw; Fred Gross, Stevensville, Mont.; and Joe Gross, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; sister: Helen Harris; and brother: Gene Gross.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. The services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, in the funeral home with pastor Mike Gross of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Syracuse Cemetery.

Royce CoxRoyce Allen Cox, 85, Warsaw, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at his residence. He was born on Oct. 12, 1930, in Warsaw, to Charles S. and Helen M. (Zimmer) Cox.

He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident, attended Warsaw High School, and was a United States Army veteran. He was married on Jan. 6, 1951, in Warsaw to Martha J. “Marty” Hodges who preceded him on September 29, 2013. He was formerly employed for the City of Warsaw, Bertsch Vending Services, Main Automotive, Hodges AM Ready Mix Concrete all in Warsaw, and was the former owner / operator of Fun Center Yamaha in Warsaw.

He formerly attended the First United Methodist Church in Warsaw and enjoyed attending motocross races.

He is survived by his son: Kim A. (Cindi) Cox, Warsaw; two grandchildren: Corie (Ken) Strong; and KC (Leslie) Cox; three great-grandsons: Sean; Shane; and Sam. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor Cindy Gackenheimer of the Celebration Church in Warsaw officiating. Owen Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Herman A. ‘Herm’ Ritenour

Ritenour, HermanHerman A. ‘Herm’ Ritenour, 81, Warsaw, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.

He was born on May 12, 1934, in Wabash County, to Lester and Lora (Hoover) Ritenour. He grew up on the home farm and was a 1952 graduate of Chester Township High School, Wabash County. He married Bonnie W. Wiley, on May 16, 1954, in Whitley County. He moved to Warsaw from North Manchester in 1964.

He spent a few years at different jobs – including driving truck at Farm Bureau Elevator, Peabody School Furniture factory and hauling milk; Zimmer for 36 years retiring from its distribution department; after retirement he continued working part time. He had an independent delivery service for seven years taking emergency items to hospitals and airports, delivered rental trucks and used cars covering most of Indiana.

Herman was a member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church where he served as past chairman, was on the board of trustees, sang in the choir for a number of years, and was an usher for several years; was an IU and Notre Dame fan and a die-hard Cubs fan; delivered blood for Red Cross and delivered Meals on Wheels; enjoyed being a part of a Euchre Club, square dancing and traveling. Herm also enjoyed making sawdust in the woodshop where he made toys for grandsons and underprivileged kids. His favorite thing was spending time with his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife: Bonnie W. Ritenour, Warsaw; son: Rod (Anne) Ritenour, North Manchester; five grandchildren: Anthony (Crystal) Ritenour, Louisville, Ky.; Michael Ritenour, Wabash; Troy (Rhonda) Custer, North Manchester; Todd (Heather) Custer, North Manchester; Angela Custer, North Manchester; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents: Lester and Lora Ritenour, in 1958, two sisters: Esther Wine; Edna White; and one brother: Cecil Ritenour.

Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Titus Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Steve Ailes, Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

BennettKevin C. Bennett, 51, Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, in Fort Wayne at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana.

On Sept. 13, 1964, he was born in Warsaw, to Stephen and Linda (Hopkins) Bennett. He was united in marriage on Aug. 9, 1996, in Warsaw, to LeAnn Barton. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Kevin worked as a polisher for Whimet Corporation. He was a member of the Oak Grove Community Church.

Kevin is survived by his wife, LeAnn Bennett, Warsaw; his children, Andrew (Ashley) Bennett, Warsaw; Alishia (Kenny) Graff, Leesburg; Kenyan Bennett; and Brody Bennett, Warsaw; his parents, Stephen and Linda Bennett, Atwood; brother, Stephen Ray (companion Teresa Wilson) Bennett, North Webster; sister, Penny (Steve) Thomas, Chapman Lake; sister-in-law, Brooke Bennett, Atwood; mother-in-law, Sue Barton, New Haven; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Tanner Bennett; brother, Robert Bennett; and father-in-law, Roger Barton.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Doug Lemon officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. There will be a private interment.

Nancy Ann McCartney

Nancy Ann McCartney, 67, Indianapolis, formerly of Warsaw, died at 9:23 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, in the emergency room at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

Born on May 13, 1948, in Lisbon, Ohio, she is the daughter of Herbert and Margaret (Martin) Allmon.

She married Ancil Loye McCartney on June 1, 1966, in Lisbon, Ohio. He died on Dec. 15, 2014.

McCartney is a 1966 graduate of Crestview High School, Columbiana, Ohio, and was a house parent at Children’s Guardian Home in Indianapolis for 24 years. She was an avid reader who enjoyed watching court shows, the Food Network and the Cooking Channel on TV. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons: John McCartney, Indianapolis; and James (Roxie) McCartney, Franklin; one daughter, Theresa (Carl) Howard, Indianapolis; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Jane Swinehart, Warsaw; and Kathleen Marvel, Mishawaka; and one brother: Wayne (Jocy) Alimon, Decatur.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Alice Mae Alimon and a brother, Daniel Alimon.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, in the Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Jack Worth, Dutchtown United Brethren Church, Warsaw, will officiate. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery, Palestine.

Billi Campbell Andrews

Billie AndrewsBilli Campell Andrews, 87, of Satsuma, Fla., and formerly of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, in nearby Palatka, Fla.

Billi was born to William and Irma (Maybury) Campbell on Sept. 18, 1928, in Mount Pleasant, Tenn. She graduated from high school in Memphis, Tennin 1948 before moving to Warsaw,in 1951.

It was in Warsaw that Billi would meet the late David Andrews, Sr. The two were married in 1956 and together they would raise two children, Judy and David, Jr.

From 1960-1967, Billi ran her own beauty salon and in the eight years afterward, she served as the matron of the Kosciusko County jail, (now the Old Jail Museum). From 1982 until her retirement, she worked as a property manager in Cape Canaveral and Miami Beach, Fla.

Billi was married to Robert Wishman in 1991 in Miami Beach, Fla. He preceded her in death.

Billi loved to attend church, garden, study genealogy and golf. She also loved listening to music and learning new things. Above all, Billi loved spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include a daughter: Judy Truex of Warsaw; son and daughter-in-law: David and Elaine Andrews, Jr. of Indianapolis; two granddaughters: Heather Truex and Tracy (husband Jason) Nichols both of Warsaw; four great-grandchildren: Brandon Pequignot of Noblesville; Katrielle Wood, Ian Nichols, and Ella Nichols, all of Warsaw; great-great-granddaughter: Zuri Pequignot at home; sister: Emily Lengyel of Satsuma; niece: Donna Jean Clarke of Satsuma and three nephews: John Likteig of Georgia, Jim Lickteig and Ted Bowen both of Florida.

In addition to her husband, Robert, and parents, those preceding Billi in death are brother, Charles Campbell, and sister, Donna Lee Lickteig.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Billi Andrews will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street Warsaw. Pastor Abe Hepler of Mission Point Community Church, Warsaw will officiate.

The family has asked that gifts in Billi’s name be directed to the Indiana Chapter of National MS Society, 7301 Georgetown Road No. 112 Indianapolis, IN 46368 or on their website.

He was born July 20, 1949, in Latrobe, Penn. to Lloyd and Etta (Cramer) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson is survived by a daughter: Chrystal Anderson, Goshen; a son: Daniel J. Anderson Jr., Okla.; five grandchildren: Kyle Weber; Cody Geiger-Anderson; Colton Geiger-Anderson; Kameron Branum; and Hunter Anderson; three sisters: Joy Edmunds, S.C.; and Esther (Barry) Sipple; and Ruth (James) Elder, both of Warsaw; and five brothers: Richard Anderson, Warsaw; Charles (Margaret) Anderson, N.C.; and Harvey (Flossie) Anderson; Samuel (Margo) Anderson; and David Anderson, all of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: James and Lloyd Anderson.

A member of Harvest Community Church and an active participant of Celebrate Recovery; Mr. Anderson was an award winning welder for DePuy and Biomet in Warsaw.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Harvest Community Church, Goshen. There will be a 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, funeral service, also at the church. Pastors Jeremy Gwalteny and Jim Dreier will officiate. Burial will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

James Carl McKinney

James McKinneyJames Carl McKinney, 72, Warsaw passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, at Mason’s Healthcare. He was born on Feb. 22, 1943, in Ky. to Orville and Opal McKinney. On May 2, 1980, he married Judy Hamilton; she preceded him on Nov. 17, 2003.

Carl enjoyed playing poker, watching wrestling, going to the races and drove a stock car at Warsaw Speedway in the 70’s. He enjoyed working on cars and passed that on to his son. He managed Graceland Village Mobile Home Park in Warsaw for several years during the 90’s. He enjoyed playing horse shoes and corn hole with his grandchildren. Carl was easy going and always had a good sense of humor about things.

Carl is survived by his companion: Glendeane Gayheart, Claypool; a son: James McKinney Jr., Warsaw; a daughter: April (Rodger) Berry, Warsaw; daughter: Clistie (Jim) Hoskins, Claypool; daughter: Michelle (Jeff) Puckett, Mentone; daughter: Mary (Scott) Lampkin, Warsaw; and Lois Ann (Rick) Burgess, Prestonburg, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Helen (Duane) Ledbetter, Warsaw; Donna Sue Sturgill, Ky.; and Sylvia Ramey, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother: Charles ‘Jr.” McKinney; two sisters: Avanell Frasure; and Juanita Daniels; and grandson: Kaleb Lampkin.

A celebration of Carl’s life will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Warsaw Wesleyan Church, Reverend Andrew Weaver will be officiating the service. There will be a time of visitation with the family one hour prior to the service. A private family interment in Oakwood Cemetery will be at a later date.

Amanda J. Sudlow

Amanda J. SudlowAmanda J. Sudlow, 41, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, in the IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis, after a year-long battle with cancer.

Born Jan. 9, 1975, in Kalamazoo, Mich. , she was the daughter of Richard Donald and Carolyn J. (Smith) Sudlow. She would move to Warsaw from Rockford, Ill. in 1983. Amanda was a 1993 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

Amanda was employed by Kosciusko Family Health Care PC for 10 years and presently was working in the medical records department.

She attended Warsaw Community Church and volunteered at Fellowship Missions (homeless shelter). Amanda enjoyed Komets Hockey and followed Jimmy Johnson in NASCAR. She was a Notre Dame, Colts and Green Bay Packer football fan. Amanda was a loving mom who enjoyed watching her son play Young Tigers Football and her daughter as she managed the Madison Elementary Cardinals girls’ basketball team.

Left with broken hearts is her mother: Carolyn Sudlow, Warsaw; twins: son: Carson Sudlow; daughter: Madison Sudlow, both at home; and her brother and sister-in-law: Rich and Kay Sudlow, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her father: Richard D. Sudlow, on Jan. 9, 1997; maternal grandparents: Wayne and Doris Smith; and paternal grandparents: Don and Marcele Sudlow.

Friends and family may come together to share memories in support of one another from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service celebrating Amanda’s life will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27. Pastor Jamy Gregory of Warsaw Community Church will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Sandra M. ‘Sandi’ Rude

Sandra M. 'Sandi' RudeSandra M. “Sandi” Rude, 50, passed away at 7:55 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Sandi was born in Warsaw, Feb. 10, 1965, to Samuel W. and Mary Lou (Schrader) Baxter.

She was a 1983 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and in 2000 she earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work through St. Francis College in Fort Wayne.

On Oct. 2, 1981, she and John Rude married in Warsaw. He would precede her death June 8, 1989.

Sandi was a homemaker and a lifetime Warsaw resident. She taught piano lessons in her home and was a social worker with the state of Indiana.

She was a member of First Christian Church. Sandi found a hobby in arts and crafts. She enjoyed reading. Animal rescuing was not only her passion, it was her life’s calling; she was considered an animal whisperer by some. She loved helping people. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and was especially proud to be a nana.

Those who now hold treasured memories in their hearts are her son and daughter-in-law: Gabe (Kyra) Rude, Ventura, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law: Kristin (Martin) Bustamante, Warsaw; three grandchildren: Trevor Deckard; Ariana ‘Ana’ Bustamante; and Kaleyah Bustamante; mother: Mary Lou Baxter, Warsaw; brother and sister-in-law: David and Roberta Baxter, Newburgh; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Penny L. Daisy; and Deloris and Joe Clark, all of Mansfield, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law: Candy (Rude) Hayes; and stepfather-in-law: Mick Hayes, Rochester. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Nathalia Rude, Dec. 17, 2004; father: Samuel W. Baxter, March 5, 2011; and father-in-law: Jimmy Rude, on Jan. 2, 1991.

Family and friends will come together for a time of sharing as they support one another in their loss from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service celebrating Sandi’s life will take place 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Boschain of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Sharon MitterlingSharon Rae Mitterling, 67, of Warsaw, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, in Warsaw.

She had been a resident of Kosciusko County, since 1959, and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1966. Sharon attended Warner’s Beauty College in Fort Wayne and later attended Grace College in Winona Lake. She worked for the Cardinal Center and as a feeder at R.R. Donnelley and Sons both of Warsaw until she retired in 2005.

She loved to play her Game-Boy, and traveling. She was a member of Winona Lake Free Methodist Church where she also enjoyed volunteering her time.

She was born on June 9, 1948, in Nevada, Mo., to John Albert McClements and Betty Roseanna (Connor) McClements. On Feb. 14, 1970, she was married to David Bruce Mitterling, who survives in Warsaw.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Beth Mitterling, Warsaw; mother: Betty Roseanna McClements, Winona Lake; sister: Joy (Dave) Dilling, Warsaw; two nieces; and six great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father: John McClements, in 2013.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, Winona Lake. Her funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Paul Parker.

Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw. Arrangements are entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.

Memorial donations in Sharon’s memory may be directed to the Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, Winona Lake, and would be appreciated by the family.

Karen Best-Hummitch, 71, Warsaw, passed away at noon Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, in her residence. She was born Feb. 2, 1944, to John and Evelyn (Foley) Best, Washington D.C.

She was a lifetime resident of Warsaw and was a real estate agent working for Re/Max for many years.

Karen is survived by her three sons: David Blake, Warsaw; Michael (Lynn) Blake, Harrison, Mich.; and Daniel Morrisey, San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren; and a brother: John Best, Fla.

Lois OkunLois Ann Okun, Warsaw, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Warsaw Meadows Health Care at the age of 84.

She had been a resident of Kosciusko County, for the past four years and was a homemaker. Lois graduated from high school in Los Angeles, Calif. in 1949. She volunteered at the Vancouver Fort on the Lewis and Clark Trail in Vancouver, Wash., and was a gifted oil and china painter. Most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to serve others.

She was born on Feb. 23, 1931, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Benjamin Kathren and Sally (Foreman) Kathren. On Nov. 6, 1949, in Los Angeles, Calif. she was married to Samuel Okun, who passed away on Feb. 5, 2008.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Wendy Christy, Warsaw; son: Gary (Eva) Okun, Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren: Angela Christy, Warsaw; Matthew Christy, Laramie, Wyo.; and her brother: Ronald (Susan) Kathren, Richland, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother: Raymond; and her son-in-law: Ron Christy.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.

Stanley Spaw

Stanley E. “Stan” Spaw, 76, of Warsaw, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at his home. He was born on Oct. 21, 1939, in Fort Wayne, to Wilbur and Louise (Hunt) Spaw.

He grew up in Fort Wayne and attended Fort Wayne Central High School. He was married on Dec. 7, 1962, in Fort Wayne, to Carol Ann Hargis who survives and moved to the Warsaw area 45 years ago from Fort Wayne. He retired from Essex Wire in Columbia City as a lab technician after 32 years.

He formerly attended the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne and was a former member at the Eagles Lodge in Fort Wayne.

He is survived by wife: Carol Spaw, Warsaw; three daughters: Susan Caldwell, Jacksonville, Fla.; Sheila Spaw, Warsaw; Shannon (Mike) Harter, Wabash; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Susan Spaw, Fort Wayne; Pamela Meeks, Edgewood, Ky.; and Renee (Dave) Grim, Fort Wayne; stepmother: Delores Grim, Gas City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Terry Lee Spaw.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, Owen Family Funeral Home, SR. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Friday, in the funeral home with Pastor Linda McBride of Covenant Partners Ministries in Muncie, IN officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw.

Preferred memorials may be given to Great Lakes Hospice, 334 Enterprise Drive, Warsaw, IN 46580. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Herbert A. ‘Herb’ Allmon

Allmon, HerbHerbert A. ‘Herb’ Allmon, 93, Warsaw, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Golden Living Center, Mishawaka.

He was born July 11, 1922, in Columbiana, Ohio, to Alfred Allmon and Velva (Birch) Allmon. He was a 1941 graduate of Fairfield High School, Columbiana , Ohio. He was inducted into the United States Army on Nov. 3, 1942, and entered active service on Nov. 17, 1942, at Fort Hayes, Ohio. He served in World War II as antitank gun crewman. SGT Herbert A. Allmon, a Silver Star recipient, was honorably discharged on Oct. 27, 1945, through Indiantown Gap Military Reservation in Penn.

Herb married Margaret Martin on Oct. 11, 1946, in Lisbon, Ohio, and moved to Warsaw in 1967 from East Palestine, Ohio. He was the owner/operator of Allmon Upholstery, Warsaw. He and Margaret would work side by side for 40 years. He was a member of the Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw American Legion #49, and enjoyed gardening, farming, and loved being with his family.

He is survived by wife: Margaret Allmon, Warsaw; two daughters: Jane Swinehart, Warsaw; Kathleen ‘Kathy’ Marvel, Mishawaka; one son: Wayne (Jocy) Allmon, Decatur; one daughter-in-law: Pannee ‘Urai’ Allmon, Thailand; 24 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and one niece: Betty Delacruz, Pierceton. He was preceded in death by two daughters: Alice Mae Allmon, on March 27, 1950; Nancy McCartney, on Jan. 14, 2016; one son: Daniel H. Allmon, on May 30, 1990; one great-grandson: Brody Allen Fish, on Oct. 23, 2001; three sisters: Elnora Hillberry, on Dec. 28, 1997; Dorothy Osborne, on Sept. 7, 1975; and Catherine Allmon, on May 17, 1930; and two brothers: Richard Allmon, on Dec. 31, 1926; and Wilmer Allmon, on May 27, 1938.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, and one hour prior to the service in the church. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Jack Worth, Dutchtown Brethren Church. Burial will be at Palestine Cemetery, Palestine. Military graveside honors will be conducted by Warsaw’s American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126.

Serenity Izona Marie Sanchez, infant, Warsaw, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, in Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born Jan. 21, 2016, to Kenneth Lee Sanchez and Zoella Mae Melton, both of Warsaw.

Serenity is also survived by maternal grandmother: Christina (Doni) Guthrie, North Manchester; paternal grandparents: Lena (Joe) Sanchez, Warsaw; maternal great-grandmother: Connie (Greg) Ratcliff, Silver Lake; and paternal great-grandparents: Barbara (Kenneth) Hall, Mt. Vernon, Ky. She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather: Scott Melton; maternal great-grandparents: Norma and Robert Melton; and James Loftis; and paternal great-grandparents: Mary Krieder; and Bobby Inkrom.

Family and friends may call from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the church, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating.
