J. Victoria Housour, 48, of Retired Tigers Apartments, Warsaw passed away in her residence at 3:10 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10, 2020. She was born Feb. 12, 1971, in Gallia County, Ohio to Deborah Ann Holderby, who preceded her.

Surviving is a brother Thomas Seymour of Warsaw.

Services will be held at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.

Bettylee Shepler

Bettylee Shepler, 85, Warsaw, passed away at 6:55 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020m at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

She was born on July 22, 1934, in Steuben County, Indiana to Wanda Lee (Parker) Forrester and John Leo Forrester. On October 18, 1958 she was married in Warsaw to Harold Raymond Shepler. They shared 29 years of marriage together before he passed away on June 16, 1988.

Bettylee was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a 1953 graduate of Warsaw High School. She went on to attend cosmetology college in Fort Wayne. She was a hairdresser for a number of years, cutting hair for the residents of Alfran Nursing Home that was once in Warsaw. Bettylee enjoyed being outdoors and raising animals. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be forever missed by her family and the many friends she made throughout her lifetime.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Elnora Shepler, Etna Green; four grandchildren: Branden Shepler, Laketon; Bryan Shepler, Warsaw; Brooke Shepler, Syracuse; Brittney (Heath) Simons, Rochester; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Raymond Shepler, two sons, Gilbert Lavern Morts in 1991, and Bret Raymond Shepler, who recently passed away on Jan. 24, 2020.

Bettylee’s life will be celebrated with a service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Ken Locke. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.

Yvonne D. “Vonnie” Cook, 53, Hoffman Lake, Warsaw, passed away at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 , in  her residence. Yvonne was born on Dec. 2, 1966, in Warsaw, Indiana to Joseph and Shirley (Finton) Cook.

She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Vonnie worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Fairmont Homes, Nappanee for 30 years. She loved animals and was known to be an awesome baby shower organizer and to have a big heart for her family and friends.

Yvonne is survived by her companion of 20 years, Scott Charlton of Warsaw; mother, Shirley Cook of Warsaw; siblings, Joe (Cheryl) Cook of Etna Green, Vicky (Jeff) Owens of Warsaw, Jeff (Vicki) Cook of Warsaw; step-sons, Tyler Charlton of Nashville, Tenn., Saber Charlton of Fort Wayne; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Joe Kirkendall) Owens of Chicago, Ill., Jennifer Cook of Muncie, Erin Owens of Los Angeles, Calif.; Tyler Owens of Los Angeles, Calif.;, Brittany Cook of Muncie, Jeremy McCartney of Warsaw, Alex Cook of Warsaw. In addition, she is survived by great nieces and nephews, Channing and Logan Charlton, Knox Kirkendall.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Cook, on March 12, 2018, and nephew, Andy Cook.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at  McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20,  at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastor Mike Beezley will be officiating the services. Interment will follow at Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, Indiana.

Ellen Hatcher

Ellen Hatcher, 79, Warsaw, passed away at 8:25 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, in  Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. Ellen was born on July 24, 1940, in Milford, to Raymond and Vera (Knoop) Smith. She was united in marriage to Samuel Hatcher in 1971 in Kosciusko County. 

She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Ellen enjoyed reading the bible, playing cards, crocheting, and visiting with friends and family. She loved spending time with her family, and she was especially fond of her grandchildren in which she dearly loved. Ellen was a member of the Living Hope Ministries Church, Warsaw.

Ellen is survived by children, Melinda (Rodney Eggers) Hodges of Elkhart; David (Sandy) Hatcher of Warsaw; Timothy Hatcher of Warsaw; Melisa (Donald) Stevens of North Manchester; Mary (Dale) Shepherd of Yuma, Ariz.; Michelle (Josh Hamman) Hatcher of Syracuse. In addition, she was survived by 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents, husband, and tow great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-3 p.m. and from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Living Hope Ministries Church, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Living Hope Ministries, Warsaw with Pastor Lewis Wedstel Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Robin C. Clark, 57, Warsaw, passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born Oct. 31, 1962, in Bremen to Richard and Edith (Stewart) Garner.

Robin lived her lifetime in this area. She was a 1981 graduate of Bethany Christian High School. On June 5, 1981, she married Martin Clark at North Main Street Mennonite Church in Nappanee. Robin was a homemaker and a self employed craft artist. She was a longtime vendor at Amish Acres.

Surviving is her husband, Martin; sons, Russel (Jessica) Clark, Etna Green, Corey Clark, Warsaw; mother, Edith Garner, Milford; brothers, Steven (Ritta) Garner, Claypool, Kirk Garner, Milford, and Jess (Michelle) Garner, Nappanee.  She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Garner.

Private family services will take place with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee helping with arrangements. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.

Martha Marie Thomas

Martha Marie Thomas, 87, and a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed away quietly on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne.

Born on Jan. 16, 1933, in Bourbon, she was the daughter of Owen E. and Edith (Snell) Snyder. She was a graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and went on to attend Marion College where she was a music major. She was a bank officer with First National Bank in Warsaw for more than 30 years, retiring in 1996 and was a longtime member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church.

More personally, Martha enjoyed flower gardening, time spent outdoors and loved to laugh. She was one of four Snyder children and was especially close with her sister, Mary. She was a steadfast IU fan and maintained an ongoing wager with Mary, a loyal Ohio State fan, mailing their $5 pot back and forth to the winner.

She loved time spent with family and always hosted big family holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Her surviving family includes daughter, Susan Thomas of Claypool; son, Greg (Becky) Thomas of Claypool and son, Kris Thomas of Warsaw. Also surviving are four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

On May 2, 1955, Martha was married to Frank V. Thomas. He preceded her in passing as did two sisters: Phyllis Phillips and Mary Myser; brother, Paul Snyder and their parents, Owen and Edith Snyder.

A Life Celebration® is planned with Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw where visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. On Friday, a funeral which celebrates Martha’s life will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. with burial following in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.

Virginia D. Hanna, 89, Warsaw, passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. She was born on June 1, 1930, in Warsaw, to Vernon R. and Ida D. (Nine) Dimon.

She was a lifetime Warsaw area resident and graduated in 1948 from Warsaw High School. She was married on Oct. 29, 1948 in Warsaw, to Ardel Freeman Hanna who preceded her on Feb. 19, 2002. She was a homemaker and retired in 1992 from Zale Drugs in Warsaw after 12+ years.

She was a member of the Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church in Warsaw since 1960.

She is survived by her son, John R. (Carolyn) Hanna, Warsaw; six grandchildren: Michelle Blum, Sage (Derek) Olah, Jessica Hanna, Nicole (Tom) Westerhof, Heather Hanna, and Shane Hanna; 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Mark D. and Michael F. Hanna, and two infant twin brothers, Jackie and John Dimon.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsa. Memorial services will follow in the church at 3 p.m. on Sunday with Rev. Ryan Fischer officiating. Private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.

Myron Dean Blackford

Myron Dean Blackford, known to all as simply Dean, Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly at home at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at the age of 87.

He was born on Jan. 20, 1933, in Mentone, one of 15 children born to Sarah Augusta Leah (Sievers) Blackford and Joseph Burdell Blackford. On Oct. 7, 1950, he was married to Barbara Ann (Rose) Blackford, who survives.

Dean lived in Marshall County, until 1949 before moving to the Kosciusko County area where he was a member of Community Bible Church in Warsaw. He was a 28-year employee of Uniroyal Inc. in Warsaw where he was the forklift operator. He loved going to work, his days were made better because he worked at Uniroyal with his lovely wife, Barbara and they retired together in 1995. Dean had many hobbies, he loved to fish and spent countless hours playing cards at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. He will be dearly missed by his family and the many friends he leaves behind.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Barbara Ann Blackford, Warsaw; son: Russell (Amber) Blackford, Leesburg; three daughters: Myra Kimball, Warsaw; Rhonda Cox, Warsaw; Kelly (David) Walker, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also, surviving are six sisters: Carol Baugher, Tippecanoe; Vi (Dr. Eugene) Ward, Argos; Sara (Ron) Kauffman, Etna Green; Nancy (Dick) Kreft, Tippecanoe; Rose (Ray) Harroff, Warsaw; and Helen McIntyre, Tippecanoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, three sisters, grandson, Russell B. Blackford, Jr., granddaughter, Tara L. Miller, and one great-grandson.

Dean’s life will be celebrated with a service at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Keith Rickert. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Larry L. Bradbury

Larry L. Bradbury, 67, Goshen, died 12:49 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at Goshen Hospital. He was born March 11, 1952, in Warsaw, to Harold and Helen (Lozier) Bradbury. On June 16, 1973, he married Barbara (Stuck) Bradbury.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara, Goshen, children, Shannon (Brian) Pletcher, Cassopolis, Michigan, Brett Bradbury, Goshen, grandchildren, Andrea and Ariel Pletcher, Three Rivers, Michigan and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Larry was a 1970 graduate of Goshen High School. He was a licensed plumber and worked for various plumbing companies in Elkhart County. Larry was a member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren. He loved model trains, all kinds of music especially 60’s and history.

There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.

Treva Smith

Treva (Flora) Smith, 85 of Warsaw, and formerly of the Argos community passed with her loving family present on Feb. 19, 2020, at 9:55 p.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She had been in declining health for the past couple of years. On Aug. 4, 1934 in rural Fulton County, she was born to Clarence Kline and Ruth C. (Baker) Kline. She lived in Warsaw the past four years; having lived in the Argos and Culver community’s all of her life.

On Oct. 15, 1955 at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in Fulton County, she married David L. Smith. Together they shared the past 64 years with each other.

Treva worked in the kitchen at Grandma’s Kitchen in Argos. She was a member of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, Plymouth; and a graduate of Culver High School, class of 1954.

Treva was a volunteer helping children at Culver Elementary and the Culver Community Youth Center. She enjoyed visiting with friends and loved cards and she loved to give them for all occasions. She always had them on hand is case one was needed.

Treva was an avid fan and season ticket holder for 16 seasons to the Notre Dame girls basketball team. “Go Irish”

But most she loved her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Treva is survived by her husband, David L. Smith of Warsaw; son, Carl D. Smith and wife Brenda of Winona Lake; daughter, Barbara L. Eyrich and husband Douglas of Bourbon; four grandchildren, Brian Smith of Warsaw; Elizabeth Ress and husband Stelios of Warsaw; Olivia Clark and husband Aaron of Fort Wayne; Chase Eyrich of Pembroke, Fla.; three great-grandchildren: Kyleigh, Lily, and Nickolas; twin sister, Eva Holderread of Plymouth; step-sister, Brenda Wynn of Culver.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Josephine Winrotte, Betty Fisk, Helen Hannabach; brothers: Harold Flora, Robert Flora; step-sisters: Virginia Bullock, Laura Gunder; step-brother, Charles Kline

Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, 11203 S. Michigan Rd., Plymouth. Funeral services will follow at noon at the church with Rev. Ed Friberg officiating. Burial will follow at the Maxinkuckee IOOF Cemetery at Poplar Grove, Culver.

Albert Lee Hurd — UPDATED

Albert Lee Hurd, a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, after a brief period of illness. Eighty-Five years old at the time he was called home, Albert was born on April 2, 1934, in Sugarloaf Holler near Prestonsburg, Ky. and was the son of Edgar and Fanny (England) Hurd. He was one of thirteen children and the last of them to carry his family’s name.

At a young age, Albert learned the value of hard work. He was good with his hands and could fix anything, a skillset he used commonly while serving in the US Army’s Fourth Battalion as a mechanic stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Later he would work for Clausing Manufacturing as a machinist and for OEC Diasonic as a painter. He even worked in retirement, maintaining trucks at G&G Hauling & Excavating.

More personally, Albert was a fun, social person who rarely knew a stranger. He loved time spent with family and was caring and kind beyond measure. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and games like checkers and Rook; he also enjoyed watching Westerns like Bonanza and televangelists like Billy Graham and Jack Van Impe. He was friendly, funny will be greatly missed by many.

A list of survivors includes daughters, Etta Hurd of Sidney and Fanny (Phil) Kelley of Atwood; sons: Don (Tina) Hurd of Burnettsville, David Hurd of Mishawaka and Joshua (Tammy) Hurd of Warsaw; eleven grandchildren: Christopher Hurd, Elizabeth Hurd, Kaylea Shafer, Aric Shafer, Kelsey Shafer, Isaac Shafer, Zachary (Heather) Kelley, Bryce (Taylor) Kelley, Rachel (Jed) Snow, Kyle Hurd, and Dr. Madison Hurd and her husband, John Brand. Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna (Amos) Poe and Bonnie Harman and two sisters-in-law, Jo Beth Hurd and Della Hurd.

On June 11, 1955, Albert was united in marriage to the late Lois Ann Horn. Lois preceded Albert in passing on Oct. 25, 2012. Also preceding him in passing were three sisters: Alice Hurd, Belvia Cain and Marsive Hurd and seven brothers: Vernon, Bennie, Johnie, Earmel, Glen, Charles and Russell Hurd.

Friends may join family for visitation at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw from 4-7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 21. A Life Celebration® funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with doors open for one-hour prior. Mike Kelley of Word of Truth Ministries, Milford will officiate with burial in Harrison Center (Wooden) Cemetery.

Charles Lachlan Sparks

On Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at 8:13 p.m., Charles Lachlan Sparks ran into the arms of his heavenly father surrounded by his parents and grandparents. No longer encumbered by walkers and leg braces, he is hunting squirrels with his uncle, Steve Salmons, and taking long walks with his grandmas, Marti Mudd and Miki Sparks.

Charles led an active life with friends and family. He enjoyed riding his Ranger around his hometown of Mentone, horseback riding at Magical Meadows and participating in triathlons with My Team Triumph. Charles will be deeply missed by his Rosie Place family, where he went to take a break from his parents.

Charles enjoyed attending Warsaw Community Church, where he had to be in the front row rejoicing with the praise and worship team.

Surviving family are his parents, Shaun and Eva Mudd (Christon Sparks); siblings, Jocelyn Salmons, James Mudd and Noah Mudd. Grandparents are Raymond and Carol Salmons, Ron Mudd, and Clint and Dianah Sparks.

We invite you to join us in remembering Charles at Warsaw Community Church in the lower level today, Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. Tears and laughter are welcome.

Go run high on that mountain son. We will see you soon.

Memorials to the places that meant a lot to us and Charles. The My Team Triumph organization helps kids participate in 5k’s and triathlons. A Rosie Place provides a place for medically fragile kids to get away from their parents for a weekend. The Angelman Syndrome Foundation and the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics are on the threshold of a cure for Angelman Syndrome, and last, but most definitely not least, The Ronald McDonald House of Indianapolis. They were very good to us in the time we spent there. They provide a nice place for families to be close to their kids in the hospital.

Dusty Rose Krull, 36, Reno, Nev., formerly of Milford, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020.

She was born on July 9, 1983, the daughter of Richard and Cheryl (Lambright) Krull in Goshen. Dusty graduated from Wawasee High School in 2002 and attended Ball State University. She enjoyed playing sports, cooking, photography, and walking her forever furry dog friend, Poopsi. She will always be missed, and her big beautiful smile will never be forgotten.

Dusty is survived by her mother, Cheryl “Sherrie” Krull of Topeka; sisters, Alecia Ceballos of Warsaw, and Katina Sparks of Mississippi; nephew, Andres Ceballos of Warsaw; niece, Allison Ceballos of Warsaw; uncles, Gary (Sherry) Lambright, Kevin (Vickie) Lambright, and Jamie (Lori) Lambright; aunt, Karen (John) Bailey;  special uncle, Robert Nunn; and a lifelong friend Kayla Auer; along with many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Krull; and grandparents, Pat Krull and Floyd “Curly” and Donna Lambright.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Dusty’s life from 3-6 p.m., Saturday, March 1, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 12889 North Kern Road, Syracuse, IN 46567.

Jeffrey D. Smith, 61, passed away after a short illness on Feb. 18, 2020.

He was born on Feb. 3, 1959 in Rockford, Ill.

Jeff served his country proudly in the Army. He was a welder by trade, and helped construct some of the most recognizable buildings in Atlanta. Jeff was an avid ISU fan. He most recently worked for Earl May in Waukee where he greatly enjoyed taking care of the plants and working with the customers. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his fiancé, Kim Dunagan; sons, Hogan, Jared and Spencer Smith; father, Tony (Kathy) Smith; brothers, Jed (Roberta) and Dr. Josh (Kellee) Smith; sister-in-law, Kim Saline; nieces, nephews, relatives and many many friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Diana; brother, Joel Saline; and sister, Noelle Smith.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Donald Gary Prater, 74 and a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed into eternal rest at 3:20 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, at his home.

The son of Virgle Preston Prater and Pearlie (Adams) Prater, he was born on Sept. 21, 1945, in Brainard, Ky. He was one of ten children born to the pair and spent his formative years in Kentucky, moving to the Warsaw area in 1960.

A mechanic by trade, Don, as many knew him, was truly a jack of all trades. He worked in automotive maintenance for many years, in salvage for Mike Gill and Clyde Gregory, was a licensed auctioneer and was the grounds keeper at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds for many years. He raced stock cars at the Warsaw Speedway for many years and helped to run the track for several years. He was a fan of NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and of 1950s Chevys.

In his down time, Don liked to watch Westerns, particularly those with Roy Rogers. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching wrestling. A regular member of God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Don was a loving, friendly man. He was also good at telling tales and could sell anything to nearly anyone.

On June 11, 1965, Donald Gary Prater was united in marriage to Judy Burk. Together they have shared nearly fifty-five years. Judy (Burk) Prater survives at home. Also surviving are their three children: daughter, Pam (Joe D.) Crace of Warsaw, son, Kelly (Jennifer) Prater of Claypool and daughter, Tammy (Carl) Kendrick of Claypool, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and eight siblings: Juanita Shepherd, Cliff Prater, Geneva Prater, Mary Prater, Barb (Darrell) Prater, Arnold (Amy) Prater, Ron Prater and Phyllis (Greg) Varney. In addition to his parents, those who received Don into heaven include his son, Donald Lee Prater; brother, Wilford Prater; brother-in-law, Nate Shepherd and sisters-in-law, Jan Prater and Carol Prater.

A Life Celebration® will be held at Warsaw’s Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, where viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26. A funeral which celebrates Don’s life will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Bob Brown and Mike Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

William Richard Clyde

William Richard Clyde, 88, rejoiced in the arms of the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, at his son’s home in Argos. Bill succumbed following a courageous battle and over a year on hospice.

Born in Joliet, Ill. on Dec. 13, 1931, he was the son of John and Carrie (Hansel) Clyde. He graduated from Keewanna High School in Kewanna Indiana, with the class of 1949.

He went on to join the Army, earning the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge in 1955.

On Aug. 11, 1956, Bill took Norma White to be his bride, in Angola.

Bill worked in the recreational vehicle industry. His true passion was his family, he put everything into his seven children.

A thoughtful and kind man, he was always giving of his time and resources to help his neighbors.

He enjoyed gardening, and following the stock market, as well as playing online solitaire. The greatest comfort to Bill was his faith in God and the Catholic Church.

He also enjoyed farm animals, especially hearing his sons’ donkeys bray. He was a former member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge #271.

William is survived by his seven children: Lorene McNeely of Warsaw; John (the late Debbie) Wickard of Greensburg; Jim and Colleen Wickard of Argos; Theresa and Eric Deery of Plymouth; Norma and Earl Goodsell, of LaPaz; Matt and Amy Clyde of Argos; and Richard Clyde of Plymouth; sister, Carol Bauman of Kewanna; sisters-in-law Cheryl Clyde of Palmer, Ark. and Sharyne Clyde of Joliet, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Carrie Clyde, a great-granddaughter, Amber Louise Bachtel, and five of his siblings, Shirley, Bob, Don Oliver, and Earl.

Friends will be welcomed to share memories and celebrate the life of William Richard Clyde, a kind and gentle man, father and grandfather, but most of all respected friend to many, from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, March 1, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 2, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 611 N. Center Street, Plymouth with Fr. John Korcsmar, CSC officiating. Visitation will resume one-hour prior in the church. Burial will follow in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Ind.

Deanna Kay Grubbs Wilson

Deanna Kay Grubbs Wilson, 81, Warsaw, and formerly of Mentone, passed at 2:54 p.m., Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at her residence.

Deanna was born on Nov. 22, 1938, in Warsaw, to the late Herschel J. and Elsie E. (Mathy) Grubbs. She married on Feb. 25 1995, in the Calvary Lutheran Church of Plymouth, to William D. Wilson, he survives.

She was a 1956 graduate of Mentone High School and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Vincennes University. During her life she worked for several companies in Warsaw which included Sun Metal as a receptionist and Star Staffing as office manager.

Deanna enjoyed traveling from Florida to West and South Texas. She loved to show her quarter horse at shows and was an active member of the Quarter Horse Association.

She was a selfless woman who loved God and was a supporter of several Indian Schools and animal rescue organizations. She was a member of the St. Anne Episcopal Church of Warsaw.

She is survived by her husband William Wilson of Warsaw. Deanna was preceded in death by her parents Herschel J. and Elsie E. Grubbs.

A memorial service held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, in the St. Anne Episcopal Church 424 W Market Street Warsaw, with the Rev. Ryan Fischer officiating.

The final remembrance place will be in the Harrison Center Cemetery (Wooden) Etna Green.
