G. David HolabeckG. David Holabeck of Warsaw, passed away at his residence at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the age of 69.

He was a member of and worked as the maintenance supervisor at Pleasant View Bible Church in Warsaw retiring in 2013. He was also retired from the Army Reserves.

David was born on Nov. 27, 1945, in Mt. Vernon, Ill. to Gus David Holabeck and Marjorie N. (Coates) Holabeck. On August 23, 1969 he was married to Carol (Teeter) Holabeck, who survives in Warsaw.

He also leaves behind his son: Dave (Patricia) Holabeck, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters: Tracey (James) Shaffer, Johnstown, Pa.; Michelle (Brant) Burns, Warsaw; eight grandchildren: Scarlett and Jackson Shaffer; Blake and Rylee Burns; Aisia Austin; Sydney; and Kayman Holabeck; and his sister: Barbara (Laird) Veberroth, Orange, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.

His funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Michael Hontz. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
