David L. Stiver — UPDATED

, 50, Warsaw, passed away at 2:44 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne surrounded by his loving family. He was born Jan. 25, 1967 in Warsaw to D. Phil and L. Sue (Jackson) Stiver.

David loved his visits to Magical Meadows and participating in horseback riding. In addition, he was an avid movie fan and especially enjoyed the television series Dukes of Hazard and the Beverly Hillbillies.

Survivors include his parents Phil and Sue Stiver of Warsaw, brother Tom Stiver, sister Jennifer (spouse Sherlock) Harrison both of Warsaw, nephews Bishop Harrison and Tanner Stiver, nieces Brooklyn, Brielle and Braisha Harrison and Taylor Stiver. Furthermore, aunts Kathie Beery, Jerrollene Reese, Deborah Geiger and Bertha Gayheart and uncle Kevin Stiver survive along with many cousins He was preceded by his grandparents Alger and Angie Jackson and Donald and Mary Stiver.

Calling hours are scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, with Elder Gary Hurd officiating. Interment will be in Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
